The second satellite, code-named COMSAT Two, was launched from a VoloGen launch facility off the coast of Guerrero Negro, Mexico. During a press conference, Communications Director Denise Montoro commented on the success of the satellite's launch, stating that, "COMSAT Two will establish a crucial link between VoloGen stations on Earth and the Palioxis settlement on Mars. COMSAT One and COMSAT Two will provide a consistent relay channel for the transmission of research and monitoring data as well as a constant stream of biometric and life-support information to ensure that the single Palioxis crewmember will remain in the safest and most secure conditions."   Read more
