After four years, VoloGen Industries and Astronautics have finally nominated one individual to become the representative of humanity who will travel to the farthest reaches of our collective curiosity. This individual was selected among 1.4 million potential applicants from 127 countries after a rigorous search progress which lasted over thirty-six months. In 2037, potential candidates were divided into seven groups: GREEN, RED, YELLOW, BLUE, ORANGE, VIOLET and BLACK. Individuals assigned to these groups underwent a series of mental and physical endurance tests at thirty-seven VoloGen Industries and Astronautics test centers around the world. As the pool of potential candidates began to narrow down, competition became steeper and the stakes grew higher as the prospect of becoming the first person to journey to Mars dawned on a select few group of candidates. VoloGen Industries and Astronautics has the utmost confidence that the chosen person will embody the greatest strengths of humanity, and will serve as a shining beacon of bravery and bold curiosity for generations to come. While we are not yet prepared to disclose the name of this individual, we can announce that the selected applicant showed remarkable traits of endurance and dexterity in all applications of mental and physical strength. This applicant won the approval of VoloGen Industries and Astronautics by entering the prime candidacy of group BLACK and propelling beyond all other candidates. Over the next three years, the candidate will undergo continuous training to ensure that PALIOXIS is launched and maintained at optimum efficiency.
Due to the highly confidential nature of this announcement, the identity of the chosen applicant will not be revealed until 2039.
