For immediate release: New Paltz, NY - December 10, 2035 - VoloGen Industries and Astronautics has begun an extensive college campus campaign to promote its most ambitious project to date. The corporate mission, entitled "Palioxis," will manage to launch the first manned spacecraft to Mars in 2041. As part of a massive worldwide search to find the right candidate for the mission, VoloGen Industries and Astronautics has reached out to college campuses around the globe to promote The Palioxis Project. Some have interpreted the corporation's latest campaign as an indication that the selected applicant will be from a college-aged demographic. VoloGen's Director of Public Affairs, Gary Ralston, was quick to clarify the corporation's insistence in promoting to college communities. "We at VoloGen Industries and Astronautics admire the enthusiasm of young people, and respect their ability to spread information at a highly accelerated and efficient rate. We work by a similar philosophy when crafting the latest innovations in aerospace and mechatronic technologies. We want to make it clear, however, that we are actively searching for applicants of all ages."
